I was born in the Netherlands, in a true entrepreneurial family where hard work was seen as one of life’s highest values. But my own path led me somewhere very different, into the deeper realms of sensitivity, intuition, and embodied healing.

I didn’t always know I was so sensitive. It was only when my body finally called me to stop, through illness and a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome, that I began to understand how deeply I could feel and perceive what many around me couldn’t.

That diagnosis became the doorway to an inner journey. My body became my guide, my mirror, my teacher. It was both confronting and profoundly healing. I learned that pushing and striving weren’t the answer. I was being asked to surrender, to my higher self, to softness, to trust.

Just when I thought I had found a kind of balance, life offered me another initiation: a diagnosis of hairy cell leukemia, a mild form of bone marrow cancer, right before the world went into lockdown.

It was an invitation to go even deeper. To meet my own desire to heal, to claim my unique path, beyond all the stories others might tell about what healing “should” look like.

This journey led me to the root of a deep soul wound: the suppression of the Divine Feminine within me. With the loving support of the Divine Mother, and especially Mother Mary as my spiritual guide, I learned to tend to my pain parts and to nurture my nervous system back to safety and wholeness.

The chronic tension in my spine, which I had come to see as “normal”, became a sacred path of reconnection. I learned to listen to my body’s wisdom, regulate my nervous system, and transmute the energetic blockages held in my chakras.

I even came to make peace with a five-day mild chemotherapy treatment that I had resisted at first, because of my deep awareness of the problems within the medical system. Though I questioned the industry’s profit-driven approach and the neglect of natural healing, I am now grateful that this treatment gave me back my life.
